Everest Trek Food

A combination of Western and traditional Nepali cuisine is usually served on the Everest Base camp trip. Rice, vegetable curries, dal (lentils), and occasionally meat are staple foods. Along the way, teahouses serve various dishes to suit different nutritional needs, such as soups, Pasta, slices of bread and pancakes.

Everest Region Hotel Accommodation

Most lodging options in the Everest region are teahouses and lodges, which offer simple facilities. The majority of teahouses have common eating rooms and restrooms. Although some locations have luxury amenities, be prepared for simplicity and a range of comfort levels, particularly at higher elevations.

Drinking Water While Trekking

Usually, the trek's drinking water comes from nearby rivers and streams, although it's best to purify it first. For a little price, most teahouses offer boiling or filtered water. To be safe, you can also use water purification tablets or filters.

Internet Services in the Khumbu Region Trek

Although it varies by area, internet connectivity is available in the Khumbu region. Wi-Fi is available in many teahouses, but it can be sluggish and unreliable, particularly at higher elevations. Essential content should be downloaded prior to the travel because connectivity may be poor.
