Everest Base Camp Trek Preparation
Everest Base Camp Journey involves 5 to 7 hours of daily walking up and down through the rocky terrain, so it would be easy if you are mentally, physically, and emotionally ready for it. As for the EBC Trek preparation, we strongly advise Aerobic Exercise and morning jogging with 5 kg of your day pack and swimming. Importantly, your experienced tour leader will be there throughout the trip to help and make suggestions.

The best time to trek to Everest Base Camp in Nepal is during Spring (March, April, May and June), and autumn (September, October, November, and December) are the best seasons. These months offer clear skies, stunning Mountain views, and stable weather, making them perfect for trekking and Photography.
Spring (March-May): Spring is the second biggest trekking season in Nepal. Blooming Rhododendron along the trails, the weather is warm and pleasant. EBC trails Temperature ranging from -5°C to 20°C (23°F to 68°F).
Autumn (October-December): Autumn is the biggest season for the Everest Base Camp Trek Nepal. Crisp air, and crystal clear skies offer the most stunning Himalayan panoramic view of Everest and its neighboring mountains.

Is Everest Base Camp Trek Difficult?
Anyone with good physical endurance can complete this EBC trek. A journey to EBC from Lukla is about 65 km one way and takes 7 days to reach and 3 days to return. The difficulty is moderate as the Everest Base Camp trek does not require technical experience or mountaineering skills to complete it. The trek involves about 5/7 hours of walking daily on the rugged trails. Acclimatization is must; we have scheduled two acclimatization days at various altitudes at Namche Bazaar (3,440m) and at Dingboche (4,400m) to avoid altitude sickness. Keep your body hydrated by drinking enough water. You have an opportunity to go over the Cho-La Pass to Gokyo Lake valley and experience the vibrant turquoise water and breathtaking Himalayan views from Gokyo Ri.
