A steep snow around 45 degrees near the summit will be the toughest one. The summit push takes about 10 hours in round trip. Remember it is not as easy as Everest Base Camp treks! So you need to be physically fit, have knowledge on how to use crampons, ice axe, glacier walking, walking on fixed rope and safety balance in steep mountain terrain. Lukla is the gateway to Everest region adventure activities. After the short flight to Lukla from Kathmandu your journey begins through community village of Tamang, Rai and Sherpa. The cascading Dudhkosi river, suspension bridge, mani walls and monastery leads to you to a vibrant Namche Bazar. Leave the road and follow the trails to Tengboche, Pheriche, Dhukla and glacial moraine to Lobuche village and Gorakshep. Visit EBC and Kala Patthar for sunrise view and back to Lobuche base camp. Follow the south ridge to Lobuche East Climbing. Lobuche East Climb can be combine with Everest Three Pass Trek as it falls along its route.

Add-ons & Options

A Porter: Our Lobuche East Climbing package does not includs a porter services. A local porter is available for an additional cost if you required. A porter can be shared by two trekkers to carry your trekking gear. The cost of a porter for 15 days is 435 USD including his meals, accommodation, trek gear, and insurance.

Helicopter Flight to Lukla Or VV: Flight to Lukla is depending on the weather and its runway is short. The Lukla (Tenzing-Hillary) airport is the gateway to Everest. The flights are fully weather depending and sometime the flight lead calcelled. In such case, you will have an option taking a Helicopter flight and it cost 550 USd per head. The Helicopter flight will cost you additional if taken.
