A very moderate and quick eight-day trip in Nepal's Annapurna region, the Mardi Himal trip offers stunning views of Fishtail (6,993m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna South, Himal Chuli, and Annapurna II and IV, among other mountains. This trek begins and ends in Kathmandu and offers a less strenuous option than the well-known Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Circuit treks. It is a less-traveled road that was only discovered and made accessible to visitors in 2012.

The Mardi Himal Base Camp hike offers a thrilling experience without high altitude risk. People can do it in 4 days or combine it with longer treks.

A quick drive from Pokhara to Kande starts the adventure. The hike then starts, taking you through peaceful Rhododendron forests to Australian Camp, which provides breathtaking views of the valleys and mountains. After crossing the hills and mountains, you will soon arrive at the spectacular and towering base of Machhapuchhre Himal. A remarkable journey full of excitement for the breathtaking views that lay ahead begins at this very moment.

Key Points of Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek

  • Savor the beauty of Pokhara, where Fewa Lake reflects the Annapurna and Fishtail mountain ranges.
  • Take part in an inexpensive, accessible hike that is appropriate for all ages.
  • Explore a varied terrain, vibrant ethnic cultures, expansive alpine views, and cross-cultural interactions.
