Best Time for the Khopra Trek
Spring (March, April, May, and June) –The springs season offer an excellent time for the trekking due to moderate temperature and clear skies with blooming Rhododendron, Orchid, lily, Tulip and many more. The temperature ranges from 10°C to 18°C and early spring might have snow on path in higher altitudes.
Autumn (September, October, November and December) – The autumn season is the finest trekking season. It offers Crisp air, stunning Himalayan Views, and comfortable weather condition. The day and night are crystal clear. These seasons ensure dry trails, clear skies, and optimal mountain views with stars shoot at night.
Winter (January and February): These months are freezing with heavy snowfall sometime, which may cause the guest houses to be closed in the upper part of the trek.
Monsoon (July and August): The monsoon is heavy in Nepal, even though the weather is unpredictable! You may experience landslides, floods, wet trails, and poor visibility. So these months are not highly recommended for trekking in Nepal.
